This is one of the oldest settlements on the Baja California Peninsula and is another area of great beauty. There are winding colonial streets to explore and for the more adventurous there are a wide variety of water sports to be had in the Sea of Cortez.
If you really seeing nature at its most basic, then the Ibera Wetlands are the place for you. They are situated in the province of Corrientes in Argentina and are comprised of swamps, stagnant lakes, lagoons and swampy marshlands. They cover an area of 20,000 square kilometres and will soon be made into a national park.

The Jenolan Caves are located inside a mountain range and are a very spectacular sight to behold. The rock features are truly amazing and there are many underground streams flowing through the caves.
With over 400,000 years of history, the Dordogne region of France is simply amazing. There are many medieval villages, towns and cities and also more than 1,500 castles and chateaus. It is also famous for its rich gastronomic delights.
Going for more than 42 kilometers underground, the Eisriesenwelt Ice Caves are the largest in the world and are located in Werfen, Austria. Made from limestone, this natural phenomenon is a spectacular sight to see.
Part of the Friendship Park and located on the eastern side of Finland, Elimyssalo Nature Reserve is a truly beautiful area with spruce forests and many lakes and ponds. A lovely place to visit.
