8 Days

Venture deep into the heart of Corcovado National Park, identified by National Geographic as ‘one of the most biologically intense places on the planet’. The pristine rainforests of Costa Rica’s remote Osa Peninsula are alive with myriad tropical birds and habitat for rare and exotic species including elusive puma and jaguar, tapir, herds of collared peccaries, sloth, squirrel monkeys, white-faced capuchins, mantled howlers, and spider monkeys. On this active Costa Rica adventure we hike on rainforest wilderness trails, kayak coastal waterways and rivers, swim under waterfalls, and snorkel from pristine tropical beaches. We reach the remote Sirena Ranger Station in the heart of the national park by boat and then hike through the park along a spectacular tropical wilderness trail wending its way through the forest and pristine beaches along the wild tropical coast. Trip proceeds support research and habitat preservation of neotropical cats in the Osa.
