This active, family-friendly Belize adventure tour is an in-depth and hands-on exploration of the rich natural history of Belize and Guatemala and includes exposure to Mayan ruins, contemporary cultures, rainforest wildlife and underwater coral reefs. With charming rainforest lodges and breezy beachfront cabanas, each day you head out with our naturalist guide for a new adventure: canoe through a crystal studded limestone caves, zip line through lush rainforest, climb temple steps of remote Maya sites to watch the sunset over the jungle canopy, or a visit to the verdant forests of Tikal National Park to spot hundreds of wildlife species, including toucans, monkeys and ocelots. This itinerary offers you plenty of time for solo-explorations, too: visit the nearby villages and soak in the Creole, Maya and Garifuna cultures, kick off your shoes and enjoy a swim in the warm Caribbean ocean or grab a snorkel and dive with whale sharks (April-May).
