The Rhein is a European river, beginning in the southeastern Swiss Alps and ending in the North Sea in the Netherlands. At 760 miles, it is the second longest river in Central and Western Europe. Along the river you’ll find many castles and fortifications as a legacy to the Holy Roman Empire, as well as many other aesthetic features. Lake Constance for example is one of the scenic attributes to this area. It is a beautiful lake consisting of three bodies of water located in Switzerland, Germany, and the Alps, as well as many other beautiful features.
