Prince William Sound
Located on the east side of the Kenai Peninsula and the south coast of the U.S state Alaska, it was named after Prince William in his honor. It is the second largest national forest in the U.S.A. and is ringed by the steep and glaciated Chugach Mountains. Cruises to the glacier and wildlife viewing are popular activities at the sound. More than 220 species of birds, 30 species of land mammals, and at least a dozen marine mammal species are found in the region.
