Nymboida River
The Nymboida River is located in the Northern Rivers region of South Wales, Australia. The River is a long lasting stream of the Clarence River catchment. Rainfall helps create strong river flow during most seasons. The River is joined by nine tributaries including the Little Murray, Bielsdown, Blicks, Little Nymboida, and Boyd rivers before connecting to the Mann River. Until 2012 waters released from the hydro-electric power station on the Nymboida River created one of Australia’s most difficult canoe courses. Though most people don't put whitewater rafting and Australia in the same thought, many whitewater rafting competitions occur on this river.
