Navua River, Fiji
Awesome is the best word to describe Upper Navua River. This incredible river flows through the Viti Levu Island, the biggest one of Fiji archipelago. There are many inactive volcanos in Viti Levu. The Upper Navua River is the most preserved river of the South Pacific. Natives say that this is the “river of Eden”, or even, the highway to their ancestors. Along the 40 miles of the river, you will see the super high dark volcanos walls. And to adorn it, more than 50 waterfalls and beautiful green palms. The landscape is exciting. Once in Viti Levu Island, the experience of rafting on the Upper Navua River is obligatory.
