Nahanni River, Canada
The Nahanni River is perhaps the most visually diverse river on the planet. This river is a popular place for wilderness travelers being located in the Northwest Territories of Canada. There are several different landforms in the park that have taken millions of years to form, and give it a diversity not seen in any other national park in Canada. There are four noteworthy canyons that line the south part of Nahanni River, named by prospectors, numbering them as they travelled up the river. The South Nahanni River is a 336-mile long river with powerful currents. The new park area is covered with all kinds of wildlife that will not disappoint.
