
Lundy Island, Bristol Channel, UK
Lundy Island lies off the coast of Devon, England. Being the largest island in the Bristol Channel, its name is also used for the British sea area. The island is a four hundred foot granite outcrop that overlooks the mainland and the sea. It is mostly used for nature tours and the animal habitat is partially left intact. The visitors can stay at the unique housing facilities the island offers as well as the recreational activities like diving and boating. The day visitors are allowed to stay for a handful of hours while the local residential have the rest of hours on the island to themselves.
