
Cordillera Blanca, Peru
The Cordillera Blanca is a mountain range situated in the Ancash region and also incorporates the highest mountain in Peru which is called Huáscarán. This gorgeous mountain range is also the highest tropical mountain range in the whole wide world. It stretches 180km in the north south direction and can be measured as 28km wide loosely. The peaks are covered with snow that feeds the freshwater river to Callejon de Huaylas valley. It is has a large commercial value and promotes many activities, which are quite popular with the visitors, such as mountain biking, trekking, climbing, mountaineering, climbing, 4x4 adventure, and daily tours.
