Cambodia - Tonle Sap
As one of the world’s most varied and productive ecosystems the region around the Tonle Sap Lake has always been of central importance for Cambodia's food provision. This huge dumbbell-shaped body of water stretches across the northwest of the country. There is also a river called the Tonle Sap River. In the wet season, the lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia. Kayaking and fishing are some main activities that can be found on this big and mysterious lake as well as the river.
