Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Get up early for sunrise!

09/23/2016 - 20:36
My biggest tip for Angkor Wat is to give yourself plenty of time! Don't try and see it all in one day as it's just not possible. Also, make sure you get up early to see the sunrise - it's definitely worth it!

There's great cycling routes throughout Lofoten, spectacular beaches and great hiking trails. I loved staying in one of the old fisherman's huts and soaking up the waterfront views!

Getting lost in Valparaiso's colourful streets is a "must" if you're visiting Chile - there's great street art everywhere, lots of little boutique galleries and cafes, and such a vibrant bohemian history about the place.

Torres Del Paine

Awe-inspiring national park

09/23/2016 - 17:30
An absolute highlight of my time in South America! I did the 4-day "W" trek, but would love to go back and do the longer "O" circuit, encompassing more of the park. From the jagged peaks of Mount Fitzroy to the blue-hued glaciers and the changing vegetation, it really is a breathtaking part of the world!

Machu Picchu is definitely the stand-out highlight of the Sacred Valley, but you could spend a week or two just hiking, horse-back riding and mountain biking through this magnificent region, dotted with Inca ruins and local village communities.
