Galapagos by Land

The Galapagos islands are such a vibrant place, there's no wonder Darwin was so inspired there. Of course, the wildlife is the main draw. I was so overwhelmed within minutes of arrival to San Cristobal island. The park guides are quick with immense knowledge of the flora and fauna, but also with anecdotes about the history of the human population. Many visitors don't consider the human activity in the islands. Go to Floreana island if you have the chance!
