Alaska---Multi-Sport Camping Adventure

The Multi Sport Safari provides fully guided kayaking, rafting, hiking, glacier hikes, and mountain biking experiences. Unlike many bus tours, this trip is based out of our fixed backcountry tent camps at Kenai Wildlife Refuge and Kenai Fjords National Park. Perfect for families, those who simply love camping, and those on a budget but who arent budget-minded! Alaska---The Wilderness Safari

The perfect blend of wilderness and comfort - combines Bear viewing, flight seeing, hiking and heart thumping whitewater rafting, sea kayaking at our Seacoast Adventure Camp and a day at the "end of the road". You will spend 3 nights at remote camps and 3 nights at our comfortable main lodge. This active trip is what adventure travel is all about!

Alaska--- The Executive Safari

This Safari provides National Parks and multiple adventures in only 5 days. It is designed for those without the luxury of 7-10 days to travel, but with a desire to see as much as possible. You will visit the residents of our Bear Camp, flight see the crevasses an ravines of ice of the Harding Ice Fields, cruise the waters of Kenai Fjords National Park, mush with the Iditarod Champion Team and hike to stream featuring jumping spawning Salmon. The fisher-person in the group may opt for a Salmon charter or two during this trip.

Cruising in Alaska

Cruise through the titanic wilderness of southeast Alaska where liviathan whales swim, eageles abound, bears catch salmon, sea lions and porpoise frolic and seabirds are too numerous to count. Alaska---Kenai Fjords Kayak Camp

Our permanent camp is nestled in a protected Cove of Resurrection Bay, compared in beauty and majesty to Yosemite National Park. Beachcombing, hiking to waterfalls and glaciers, and daily kayaking the fjords and animal rich water is the order of the day. Expect to see Puffins, Sea Lions, Otters, countless sea birds, and with luck, Humpbacked and Killer Whales. Novice and expert alike will participate in daily paddling excursions and they will adapt to your comfort in domed tents with sleeping cots, and your shore side meals. The Kayak Camp is included in many of our active Safaris and can also be a stand alone excursion to your independent Alaska journey.

Alaska---Bear Camp

Few locations in Alaska can match the grandeur of our private wilderness fly-in camp in Lake Clark National Parks critical bear habitat. Your bush plane will fly by glaciered volcanoes, and land you on the beach at the edge of an Alaskan Savannah. In the early spring you will watch the bear emerge from dens as they feed on the succulent grass. As the season passes, and the fish return, you will witness them fishing in the stream under our viewing private platform. The camp, named Best Bush Camp by Outside Magazine is fully staffed and very comfortable for one day or overnight visits. Alaska-Backcountry Camping Safari

There are few Alaska trips that offer the quality camping accommodations and Adventure options of the Ultimate Backcountry Safari. This trip combines stays at each of our permanent wilderness camps-Bear Camp, Kayak Adventure Camp, and Kenai Wildlife Tent Camp. Your first days will be spent kayaking and wildlife viewing in Kenai Fjords National Park followed by time at our fly in Bear Viewing Camp in Lake Clark National Park. The safari ends at the tent lodge where you will ride with the sled dogs of an Iditarod Champion, visit the end of the road in Homer, and hike the tundra trails of the wildlife refuge. You can fit in a little fishing if you like. This safari is outdoor travel at its best.
