| There aren't words to say thank you for this trip. We had a wonderful time. Wang Jun was one of finest guides I've ever had - Jai being the other. In addition to the cultural and historical components that he provides, he is also a gastronomic expert - a special plus. Two of my favorite pix are of him with menu in hand and waitress with pen at the ready putting together a meal. Hotels were always clean and comfortable. We ran the gambit from the luxurious St Regis to the more basic Guo Tai, each interesting. We had about nine minutes of sun while we were in Guighou, but that's something even you have no control over. I didn't expect to be this choked up at leaving but Wang has become a friend and that's one of the joys of travel. |
