Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica

Fishing - Costa Rica - Latin America

Osa Peninsula is one of the last few reminders of the untouched natural beauty that Costa Rica became famous for in the 90s. This ecotourism destination has an abundance of lush rainforests, striking beaches and indigenous settlements that have not yet bought into mainstream commercialism. The Corcovado National Park takes up a large fraction of the peninsula, and is a rich showcase for flora and fauna. Water based activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving offer brilliant views of the underwater rock formations in the area. Osa Peninsula is best visited between November and April for those wishing to avoid heavy showers.
