"I'll be back!"

Biking
Walking/Hiking
Spent a weekend here and need to find time to get back. Great singletracks to explore, plenty of room away from ATV trails, and lots of fire roads that connect everything. Tillamook is one of those “not sure what's over that rise, let's go find out!” kind of places, with that perfect Oregon weather.

"All the bests things"

This is not big reveal, but worth reminding: the Oregon Coast is special. Road biking Highway 101 (and jumping off it towards Cape Meares for example) is sometimes dicey but always worth it. Affordable deep sea fishing day-trips, exceptional hikes, and in Tillamook specifically: ice cream and cheese. Bike, hike, fish, eat. With amazing scenery. And then drive down the highway, look at the Pacific, and repeat.

"Tillamook...More Than The Land of Cheese "

Kayaking
Tillamook calls it "The land of cheese, trees, and ocean breeze," and they're definitely on to something. Going kayaking and getting a duck's eye view of the estuaries, wetlands, and bays is the best way to really feel the breeze, get up close to curious otters and harbor seals, and spot the raptors and sea birds that glide above. Water trails are everywhere, too, so there's plenty to explore.
