A product of the construction of the famous Aswan Dam, Lake Nasser is one of the world’s largest manmade lakes, and one of Egypt’s most popular tourist destinations. Spotting cruise ships sailing down the reservoir is fairly common, and some lucky travelers can also hope for a Nile crocodile sighting.
