Gwydir River, Australia

Rafting - Australia - Oceania

The Gwydir River is a major inland perennial river, flowing during all times of the year, in New South Wales, Australia. The river comes into existence as the Boorolong Creek meets the Rocky River at Yarrowyck, northwest of Uralla. The Gwydir then takes a scenic journey in a general north and northwest direction as it meets over thirty-four tributaries, adding to the river’s natural beauty. It then joins the Barwon River, north east of Collarenebri. In total, the Gwydir travels a course of 303 miles and is the one the greatest of the natural beauties of Australia.
