Gran cenote is a bewitching and sublime underground sinkhole in Mexico. The water is crystal clear and flows from an underground channel. It is located in the middle of the jungle near Tulum and is surrounded by a natural rock formation. Visitors can enter the waters through a man-made wooden plank stairway which is very convenient. They can take part in the diving experience and meet the delightful marine life that includes schools of small fish and miniature turtles. The surrounding cave, made of stalactites and stalagmites, also adds to the mystical underwater experience.
