The Dannevirke Fantasy Cave is an example of a little Christmas based starting which somewhere in the range of 16 years has bloomed into a professionally displayed year round show. It draws in guests from all over New Zealand and abroad alike. In 1998 an Incorporated Society was shaped known at the Dannevirke Cave Dwellers Inc., and is handled by volunteers alone. The Cave is regulated by a panel of 13 Cave Dwellers. Mondays are the authority work days, however, numerous additional hours are also volunteered usually during the evening so that the tourists can thoroughly enjoy their experience.
