Colorado River AM Half Day Adventure
We launch our rafts onto the Colorado River at Hittle Bottom backed by an astounding view of magnificent Fisher Towers. Calm waters on the first part of journey provide relaxation and some time to learn about the unique geology of Castle Valley. After you're accustomed to the river and ready for some fun, you'll hear whitewater just around the bend - Onion Creek Rapid. The excitement continues with Professor Creek, Cloudburst and Ida Gulch rapids with plenty of time to relax and swim in between. This is an ideal rafting trips for families, couples and groups. Paddle your own craft with paddle rafts or inflatable kayaks or sit back and relax in an oarboat while your guide does all the work.

Colorado River PM Half Day Adventure
On one of our most popular trips, you’ll sample the beauty and excitement of the full-day trip on an PM half-day river adventure. This trip begins at Ida Gulch rapid. Enjoy an exclusive hot barbeque lunch at a riverside ranch where you'll have plenty of time to relax and take in the one-of-a-kind scenery on this stretch of river. After lunch, hold on tight as we raft famous White's Rapid. On this trip, you can paddle in a raft or inflatable kayak or sit back and relax in an oarboat while your guide skillfully handles the oars. The PM trip is an excellent option for combining the river adventure with other fun-filled tours available at the Moab Adventure Center.

Moab Canyoneering - Ephedra's Grotto
Starting amongst ancient petrified sand dunes we hike our way downhill to a dry sand and rock wash. Quickly the wash disappears over an edge, plunging into the depths of a hidden chasm. "We go down there?" is the usual question after peering over the edge, and indeed we do! This exquisite rappel is the first obstacle in reaching the entrance to the amazing Grotto. Now, almost totally enclosed in a small stone room, we exit to find our next challenge; an incredible rappel into an alluring green canyon below via an enormous natural stone bridge! Detailed rappelling instruction and a back-up safety system allows even the first-time canyoneer a chance to experience this exciting activity. Insights into the geology, plant life and natural history provide a depth to your adventure. A cool spring-fed stream accompanies us for the rest of this outstanding and informational hike.

This moab mountain bike ride is ideal for riders who want an introduction to off-road terrain and riding techniques. The ride contours a bluff overlooking the Windows section of Arches National Park. View the famous Balanced Rock from a distance. The terrain is moderate with few obstacles. Short sections of slickrock and singletrack riding give riders a taste of mountain biking in Moab without the risks that are more prevalent for beginners on the more advanced trails. Colorado River Jetboat - Dinner & Night Show
For a night to remember and the finishing touch on a perfect day, come along and enjoy Cowboy-style Dutch Oven dinner and a slow moving evening boat ride on the Colorado River. This is by far one of the most unique sound and light shows in the world and has been hailed by many as the “highlight of our vacation.” The canyonlands area is unlike any other area in the world making this boat ride one of the most unique features in the world.
The evening begins with a Dutch Oven dinner served on the banks of the Colorado River. After an hour of dinner, guests load a flat-bottomed jetboat named the Moab Queen II and head up river with a guide at the front of the boat pointing out things of interest. Once the boat has reached the turn around spot, the formal part of the evening begins with 40,000 watts of light illuminating the canyon walls and bring them to life. Stories about the formation, creation and history of the area are illustrated with cowboy and Indian tales. The show is choreographed with lights, sounds, music and narration as you drift back to the dock.

Moab Arches National Park Tour - Fiery Furnace
Moab’s must-do hike is the maze-like Fiery Furnace in Arches National Park. Accessed only when accompanied by an experienced guide, this hike twists and turns among contorted orange-tan fins, towers, spires and arches. Moab Adventure Center guides/naturalists lead two-hour hikes in this trackless area, pointing out hidden attractions such as Surprise and Twin Arches. Although the walk/hike is moderately strenuous in places, it can be enjoyed by anyone in reasonably good physical condition. A brief tour of the Park is provided along with the hike.
