The Lochsa

Of all the rivers in Idaho, none offers more continuous, explosive whitewater than the Lochsa ("Lock-saw"). For over thirty miles the Lochsa pounds and churns through more than 40 major rapids. Grab your paddle and crash through this raging torrent of fun. One to three day trips run from May to mid July. Camping or lodge based trips available.
